Inside the game
THE QUICK INTRODUCTION
What’s it all about?
Dorfromantik gives you a landscape one tile at a time. Rotation changes which edges can connect, and a placement that extends one feature may interrupt another. The challenge is to satisfy the requirements of the current tile without making the surrounding area too awkward for whatever arrives next.
Completing tasks helps replenish the supply, so a pleasing view is not the only consideration in a scored game. Leave room around unfinished objectives and check rail or water connections before committing a tile. Creative options allow a different pace when construction is more appealing than preserving the tile pool. It is an approachable planning game, though its 3D presentation still has listed hardware requirements.
