Inside the game
THE QUICK INTRODUCTION
What’s it all about?
Assetto Corsa Competizione concentrates on a narrower racing discipline than the original Assetto Corsa. Its GT-focused cars, circuits and race conditions make consistency a central skill: braking, tyre behaviour and the shape of an exit all affect what happens through the next section.
The advantage of that focus is that practice has a clear reference point. A familiar car on a familiar circuit lets you judge whether a change actually improves control. It is a better fit for someone interested in learning racecraft than for a player seeking instant arcade handling. Check the base game’s included content carefully, because additional cars and circuits are sold in separate packs.
