Inside the game
THE QUICK INTRODUCTION
What’s it all about?
Dune: Imperium makes a card useful in more than one way. Playing it can send an agent to a valuable location, while saving it for a later reveal may improve your buying power or military position. The tension comes from choosing which opportunity matters before another player claims it.
Conflict is only one route through this contest. Faction influence, resources and the timing of a purchase can change the value of an otherwise modest turn. The digital adaptation handles the bookkeeping, but it still asks you to read the table. It is best approached as a substantial board game with an Arrakis setting, rather than a real-time war game or an adaptation of Dune: Spice Wars.
