What’s it all about?
Nova Drift takes the immediate controls of an arcade space shooter and adds a branching build to every run. Your ship’s weapon, shield and body provide a foundation; successive upgrades can reinforce that choice or push it somewhere less predictable. The result is as much about discovering useful interactions as it is about aiming.
Movement still matters when a build looks powerful on paper. A combination that clears enemies quickly may leave little margin for a badly timed turn. That tension gives experimentation a practical test. It is a strong match for players who like short feedback loops: choose an upgrade, see what changes, then use the next attempt to pursue a more coherent idea.
