RISK: Global Domination turns a map into a contest over position and timing. Reinforcements give you options, but spreading an army too thin can leave yesterday’s gains difficult to defend. Dice add uncertainty to battles, so a strong plan needs room for a result that does not go your way.
Start with familiar rules and a manageable map before exploring custom settings. Look at the borders you will have to protect after an attack, not just the territory you might win. Solo and multiplayer options offer different ways to practise. The game rewards patience as much as a dramatic offensive.
