Rockstar Games has revealed one of its biggest physical collectible packages yet for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the price is almost as eye-catching as what is inside the box.
Priced at $399.99, Rockstar’s new Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is aimed squarely at collectors. The box brings together 11 GTA 6-themed items, ranging from Oakley sunglasses and a New Era cap to a Macca the Gator figure and a double-sided Leonida map poster.
There is one important detail buyers need to know before spending nearly $400: Grand Theft Auto VI itself is not included.
Rockstar specifically lists the game as a separate purchase. That also means this is not a traditional GTA 6 Collector’s Edition containing a copy of the game. Rockstar describes it as a limited-edition Collector’s Box built around physical merchandise from Vice City and Leonida.
What Is the GTA 6 Goodtime State – Vice City Collection?
Rockstar unveiled The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection on September 24, 2026, with pre-orders going live through the Rockstar Games Store the same day.
Much of the collection is themed around Macca the Gator, a fictional character tied to an in-game Leonida television show. Rockstar has previously shown glimpses of the character in GTA 6 promotional material, but this collection gives Macca a much bigger role.
What’s Included in the GTA 6 Collector’s Box?
- A 6-inch Macca the Gator collectible figure with a built-in storage space
- GTA VI Oakley Frogskins eyewear featuring Prizm Sapphire lenses
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- New Era 9FORTY snapback hat
- Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- Vice City collectible swizzle spoon
- Vice City razor blade-style keychain
- Leonida Keys enamel pin set
- Leonida Keys sticker pack
- Double-sided souvenir poster featuring a map of Leonida
Among those items, the Leonida map may be particularly interesting for players following GTA 6’s world closely. The poster offers another official glimpse at Leonida, the wider setting that includes Vice City and other areas players will explore in GTA 6.
Why the $399.99 GTA 6 Collector’s Box Does Not Include the Game
The unusual part of the package is not simply its price. It is the separation between the merchandise and the game.
Rockstar’s store makes clear that Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately, so anyone buying the $399.99 collection will still need to purchase GTA 6 independently if they want to play it.
That distinction matters because the term “Collector’s Edition” is commonly associated with premium game packages that combine the game with statues, art books, steelbooks or other physical extras.
The Goodtime State collection takes a different approach. It is essentially a large GTA 6 merchandise package released alongside the game rather than another version of GTA 6 itself.
Rockstar has already announced separate Standard and Ultimate editions of GTA 6, so players interested primarily in the game should not confuse this Collector’s Box with those editions.
GTA 6 Collector’s Box Launches on November 19, 2026
The Vice City Collection is scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026, which is also the confirmed release date for Grand Theft Auto VI.
GTA 6 is launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on that date.
For collectors, having the box tied directly to launch day gives the package some additional significance. For players simply looking forward to GTA 6, however, none of the items in the collection are required to access the game.
The $399.99 purchase is aimed much more clearly at dedicated collectors and fans who want physical memorabilia connected to Rockstar’s new version of Vice City and Leonida.
GTA 6 Collector’s Box Availability Varies by Region
Rockstar says pre-orders are available while supplies last, confirming that the Collector’s Box is a limited-edition product.
Availability will not necessarily be identical worldwide.
In its announcement, Rockstar specifically said that further information about pre-ordering the collection across Asia, Latin America and Australia will be announced separately.
That means players in regions where the collection is not currently offered should avoid assuming that the US pricing or ordering process will apply locally.
Rockstar has not announced an exact production quantity for the box, either, so “limited edition” should not be interpreted as a specific number of units unless the company provides additional details.
Rockstar Is Expanding GTA 6 Beyond the Game
The Vice City Collection is another sign of how extensively Rockstar is building merchandise and media around GTA 6 before launch.
Just one week earlier, Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track official soundtrack arriving alongside the game on November 19. The publisher has also said that more GTA 6 apparel and collectibles are coming to the Rockstar Store.
That makes the $399.99 Collector’s Box less of a standalone experiment and more a part of a broader GTA 6 merchandise lineup.
For prospective buyers, though, the most important detail remains straightforward: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection gives you the collectibles, not Grand Theft Auto VI.
Anyone ordering it specifically for the game will still need to buy GTA 6 separately when it launches on November 19.
