THE QUICK INTRODUCTION

What’s it all about?

Brotato separates survival into short fights and shopping decisions. During a wave, movement keeps enemies at a manageable distance while your weapons do their work. Between waves, materials let you alter the build, but a purchase only helps if its statistics fit the character and equipment you already have.

The allowance for multiple weapons creates room for specialised combinations. It also makes it easy to spread upgrades across too many competing ideas. Think about whether the current problem is damage, reach or staying alive before buying another item. The PC version is a paid game; check its listed memory and graphics requirements rather than assuming pixel art means any computer will run it.

Your kind of game if…

You want brief combat waves with frequent opportunities to adjust a build.

How to play

  1. Read the character’s bonuses and limitations before a run.
  2. Keep moving through gaps instead of letting enemies surround you.
  3. Collect materials to fund the next shopping round.
  4. Choose weapons and statistics that support the same plan.
