What’s it all about?
RimWorld builds a colony from people with different abilities, preferences and limitations. Food, shelter and work assignments are practical concerns, but relationships and unexpected events can change what the group needs next. The resulting story often comes from how you respond to a disruption.
Prepare for a basic shortage before pursuing a large construction project. A colony’s most useful resource may be a person who can still do an essential job when others cannot. This suits players who like management with unpredictable consequences; the PC base game has optional expansions with additional systems.
