Psychonauts 2 puts its platforming inside the minds of its characters. Raz can use psychic powers to fight, move and interact with places that express someone else’s worries, habits or memories. A level’s visual joke can also be a clue to the person behind it, giving the exploration a narrative purpose.
The range of powers means it helps to experiment instead of treating every obstacle as another jump.
