THE QUICK INTRODUCTION

What’s it all about?

Night in the Woods follows Mae back to Possum Springs, where familiar streets no longer guarantee a familiar life. Walking around town, talking to residents and choosing whom to spend time with provide much of its substance. Small exchanges make the place feel specific before its stranger developments take hold.

This is an adventure to read and notice. It includes movement and other interactive sequences, but a player looking for constant mechanical challenges may find the pace deliberately unhurried. The writing deals with difficult emotional and social subjects beneath its animal-character presentation. Give conversations space, and expect your choice of company to shape which parts of the town’s life you see.
