THE QUICK INTRODUCTION

What’s it all about?

Chained Echoes presents a world of rival kingdoms, monsters and mechanical suits through detailed pixel art. Its party battles use an Overdrive system that makes the sequence of actions important: a powerful move can be less useful if it pushes the group into a bad state. Reading the shared situation matters alongside each character’s role.

The combination makes a good fit for players who like classic-style RPG storytelling but want an active reason to vary their decisions in combat. Exploration and equipment choices support that rhythm, while the cast gives the conflicts more than one viewpoint. The retro appearance describes its visual language; it should not be taken to mean every system follows an older template unchanged.
