Sony has confirmed the three games joining PlayStation Plus in November 2026, with Dead Island 2 leading a selection that also includes Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered and Monster Train 2.
The lineup was announced on October 28 and will become available on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Subscribers have until Monday, November 30 to add the games to their libraries.
All three titles are part of the monthly PlayStation Plus offering, meaning members on Essential, Extra and Deluxe can claim them. There is one important difference for console owners: Dead Island 2 and Tomb Raider support both PS5 and PS4, while Monster Train 2 is available only on PS5.
PS Plus November 2026: All Three Games and Platforms
| Game | Platforms | Available From |
|---|---|---|
| Dead Island 2 | PS5, PS4 | November 3 |
| Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered | PS5, PS4 | November 3 |
| Monster Train 2 | PS5 | November 3 |
Announcement date: October 28, 2026
Last date to claim: November 30, 2026
Subscription: PS Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe
Status: Officially confirmed by Sony
The November selection moves between three very different styles of play. Dead Island 2 offers cooperative zombie combat, Tomb Raider revisits three older Lara Croft adventures, and Monster Train 2 concentrates on strategic decisions rather than reflexes.
That variety is arguably the most interesting part of this month’s selection. There’s something substantial here for players who enjoy action, but Sony hasn’t made the entire lineup dependent on the same kind of experience.
Dead Island 2 Brings Zombie Combat to PS Plus
Platforms: PS5 and PS4
Dead Island 2 is the largest action-focused release in November’s lineup.
Set in a zombie-infested Los Angeles, the adventure combines close-range fighting, character progression and missions spread across different parts of the city. Its combat places particular emphasis on improvised weapons and the often messy consequences of fighting the undead at arm’s length.
You can work through the campaign alone, but online cooperative play supports up to three people.
That makes Dead Island 2 an appealing starting point for subscribers who prefer playing with friends. The attraction isn’t necessarily an elaborate survival system or a complicated mystery. Much of its appeal comes from experimenting with weapons, confronting increasingly dangerous enemies and dealing with encounters that can quickly get out of control.
For anyone who has been considering buying the game primarily for its cooperative campaign, November provides an opportunity to try it through an existing subscription.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered Includes Three Classic Adventures
Platforms: PS5 and PS4
November also brings back an older era of Lara Croft through Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered.
Rather than a single remastered adventure, the collection contains three separate games:
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
- Tomb Raider: Chronicles
- Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness
Together, they cover a period of the franchise built around environmental puzzles, exploration, platforming and more deliberate navigation.
One useful feature is the option to switch between the original visual presentation and updated graphics. It allows returning players to revisit the familiar appearance while giving newcomers an alternative to the older models.
These adventures also offer a noticeable contrast to modern cinematic Tomb Raider releases. Their appeal is closely connected to understanding environments, finding routes and working through obstacles rather than following constant action sequences.
The collection is worth considering for subscribers interested in Lara Croft’s earlier history, although anyone approaching these games for the first time should expect design choices rooted in their original releases.
Monster Train 2 Offers a Different Kind of Challenge
Platform: PS5 only
Monster Train 2 rounds out November with a single-player roguelite focused on deckbuilding and tactical combat.
Its central conflict brings former enemies together against powerful Titans who have taken control of Heaven. Instead of directly controlling a character through conventional combat, players assemble card combinations and organise units to protect a train.
Battles take place across three vertical floors, making positioning an important part of each encounter.
Five new clans provide different abilities and tactical possibilities. Choosing which cards to upgrade, how to combine units and where to deploy them can significantly change an attempted run.
Unlike Dead Island 2, which encourages immediate action, Monster Train 2 asks players to think through the consequences of their choices.
It may be November’s less obvious headline attraction, but for someone who enjoys refining strategies over repeated attempts, its systems could offer the strongest reason to keep returning.
The PS5-only availability is important, though. PS4 owners will not receive a playable PS4 version through this month’s offer.
PS Plus Monthly Games Are Not the Same as the Extra Game Catalog
There is an important distinction between November’s three announced games and the larger selection offered through PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe.
Monthly Games are available to every subscription tier during a limited claim period. Once added to an account, they remain playable while the associated PlayStation Plus membership is active.
The Game Catalog works differently. It offers a rotating library for higher-tier members, with titles potentially leaving the service over time.
For example, GamersVora previously covered the PS Plus October 2026 Game Catalog, which included Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk among its additions.
Sony’s October 28 announcement concerns November’s Monthly Games only. It does not establish the complete November Extra and Deluxe Game Catalog lineup.
Indian subscribers should also remember that Sony calls its highest PlayStation Plus tier Deluxe rather than Premium.
How to Claim the November PS Plus Games
The three games become available through PlayStation Plus on November 3.
On PS5, open the PlayStation Plus area, navigate to the Benefits section and select Monthly Games. From there, choose an eligible title and follow the option to add or download it.
PS4 owners can open PlayStation Plus from the console’s main interface, select Monthly Games and add supported titles to their libraries.
You do not need to finish downloading or playing a title before November 30. The important step is claiming it within the availability window.
After the deadline, newly subscribing members cannot claim that month’s selection through the expired Monthly Games offer.
An active subscription remains necessary to access games previously claimed through PlayStation Plus.
October’s PS Plus Games Leave on November 2
Before switching to November’s releases, subscribers have one remaining deadline to consider.
Sony has confirmed that October’s three Monthly Games will be available to claim until Monday, November 2, 2026.
Those titles are:
- F1 25
- Hunt: Showdown 1896
- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2
Anyone interested in these games should add them to their library before the offer ends, even if they have no immediate plans to play them.
Missing the claim period means missing the opportunity to secure those titles through October’s monthly benefit.
Where Should You Start With November’s PS Plus Lineup?
Dead Island 2 is the obvious place to start for anyone looking for immediate action or something to enjoy cooperatively.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered makes a different case. Three older adventures in one package offer an opportunity to explore a part of the franchise that newer players may have missed.
Monster Train 2 is probably the most distinctive choice of the three. Its appeal lies in planning, experimentation and the satisfaction of gradually understanding how different cards and units work together.
None of these choices needs to appeal to everyone for the monthly selection to be worthwhile.
The practical recommendation is simple: claim all three games from November 3 if your subscription is active, even if you intend to play only one immediately.
Sony has confirmed the Monthly Games lineup, but the separate November Game Catalog additions remain outside this announcement.
